Spray your aluminum fencing regularly with water using your garden hose. This helps to eradicate fertilizer chemicals, dirt, and grass clippings thus, keeping it looking as good as new. In coastal areas, frequent spraying of your aluminum fence panels with water is advised to reduce the buildup of dirt and salt.

  • Most basic stains can be cleaned using a simple degreaser, such as simple green, and should be rinsed after applying.

  • For hard water stains, CLR can be used and should be rinsed after applying.

However, adequate care should be taken when using cleaning products for your aluminum fence as some abrasive agents, household cleaners, steel wool or cleaners with solvents contain harsh chemicals we don't recommend, which could cause discoloration and damage to your fence.

Pricing on all fencing products can fluctuate, but generally speaking, the up-front cost of aluminum fencing is often higher than other types of fencing. However, because aluminum fencing doesn't rust, or rot, or splinter, and it never needs to be painted or refinished, therefore, the total cost of ownership can turn out to be lower over the full life of the fence.

The Ocala, Florida climate is a major factor when determining the total cost. Wood fencing (for example) will usually be less expensive than aluminum fencing but will require continuous upkeep which will add time and money to the total cost of your fence.

In addition, many in Ocala, Florida claim that aluminum fencing has a positive impact on the price of their home if and when they may sell it down the road.

Like all materials, vinyl expands and contracts with changes in temperature. An 8' span fence rail may change up to a quarter-inch in size over an 80 degree temperature range. We account for slight changes in length when installing the system. We make sure rail ends have adequate clearance of each other inside the fence posts and place notches in the rail ends with enough leeway for contraction.

Wood fences are the most popular type of fencing in the Ocala, Florida area.

Wood fences are beautiful, sustainable and long-lasting. There is nothing quite like the look of a beautifully crafted wood fence.

There are two wood fence options to choose from - Pressure treated wood or cedar.

We use a higher grade of pressure treated wood called Ground-Contact Pressure Treated wood.

Pressure-treated wood has gone through a process that uses high pressure to force a solution of water and preservative agents deep into the lumber to help extend its useful lifespan.

The active ingredients commonly used in treated wood are alkaline copper quaternary (ACQ), copper azole (CA) or micronized copper azole (MCA). These compounds react with the wood fibers to slow natural decay and have properties to resist termites, fungus, moisture and other elements that promote rot and cause structural degradation.

This preservation process enables pressure-treated fence posts, for example, to withstand years of being embedded in soil.

Because pressure treated wood absorbs a significant amount of liquid during the manufacturing process, it typically arrives at stores still wet and can take up to several weeks to completely dry out. The preservatives remain in the lumber after the water evaporates. Learn More.

Season after season, cedar stands up to the elements. Naturally resistant to insects and decay, a cedar fence can last 15-20 years when properly maintained.

All our Western Red Cedar is sustainably sourced from North American forests and milled in the USA. It is naturally free of chemicals and preservatives.
